Casa Vicens es la primera obra maestra de Gaudí, preludio de su obra posterior.
Construida entre 1883 y 1885 como casa de veraneo de la familia Vicens, en ella despliega su inigualable talento.
Tras 3 años de minuciosa restauración, abre sus puertas al público convertida en una atípica casa-museo donde contemplación y reflexión van de la mano. Considerada una obra-manifiesto de su autor, y bandera de su libertad estilística, en 2005 fué declarada patrimonio mundial por la UNESCO.
